Hamilton Touchless was started 31 years ago by Lindsay and John Bergdale to provide exterior car washes on Sioux City’s north side. With no previous experience in the car wash business, the Bergdales used a car wash in Des Moines as a model to follow and they have been successful ever since, having washed at least a couple million cars. The car wash has a large following and is set apart from other car washes in the area because it has the only Touchless tunnel in town and provides a safe and gentle wash process.

Glenn Waid, who was hired shortly after the opening, later became a partner and has played a vital role in all facets of the business.

Over time, the car wash has added the underground Pet fencing, auto sales, and detailing aspects. Doing its part in the community it serves, Hamilton Touchless has always strived to support local charities, nonprofits, and armed services organizations.
